Abstract:A Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) was observed stooping on a Whimbrel (Numenius phaeopus) that was eventually attacked by a nearby Common Raven (Corvus corax). This incident reinforces the idea that ravens are opportunistic and intelligent predators capable of kleptoparasitizing large prey items.
