Abstract:Viable fruits of the grass, bluejoint (Calamagrostis canadensis (Michx.) Beauv.), were found in a regurgitated pellet of an American kestrel. Because pellets are retained for several hours, raptors may facilitate long-distance dispersal of seeds and fruits.
