Abstract:Abstract A fresh-water planarian collected in Anatolia is described. Its major characteristic concerns the copulatory system which exhibits features shared by the maricolan species. As only one specimen was available for diagnosis it is not advisable to infer its taxonomic position within the Tricladida. However, this is not the first case of a planarian which, though living in a fresh-water habitat, presents morphological characters common to the maricolan species.Abstract A fresh-water planarian collected in Anatolia is described.
