Genus MICROSARCOPS

Genus MICROSARCOPS.

Microsarcops Sharpe, Cat. B. M, p. 133 (1886).

Type by mon., Pluvianus cinerea Blyth.

This genus is very close to the preceding but has a small land toe. There is a lappet as in that genus and the long, slender tarsi are reticulated behind and scutellated in front.

The genus contains but one species which summers from Mongolia to Japan, migrating to India in the cold weather.
