A. Throat dark grey or blackish grey; upper parts dark.
a. Above more grey, less brownish grey;
abdomen very white P. p. peregrinus. p. 329
b. Above darker and browner; abdomen
much suffused with scarlet P. p. vividus, p. 331.
B. Throat black P.p. malabaricus,p.331.
C. Throat grey; upper parts much paler …….. P. p. pallidum p. 332.
