Genus SAXICOLA

GENUS, Saxicola, Bechst.

Bill moderate, straight and compressed, slender, very slightly inflected, with a blunt notch ; nostrils apert; rictal bristles feeble or wanting; wing moderately long, pointed; the first short, second half an inch shorter than the third, fourth and fifth, which are equal and longest; tail moderate, even, or very slightly rounded ; tarsus long and strong; feet moderate.
