Vernacular names. None recorded.

Description. Differs from Hodgson's Blue-winged Siva in having the upper parts earthy-brown, the under parts entirely white and no white tips to the wing-quills.

Colours of soft parts. " Lower mandible, legs, feet and claws whitey-brown; upper mandible darker but still pale brown; iris creamy-white " (Gates).

Measurements. Wing 62 mm.; tail 68 mm.; culmen 14 mm.

Distribution. Mt. Muleyit in Tenasserim.

Nidification and Habits. Nothing recorded.
