Genus EUDYNAMIS

GENUS, Eudynamis, Vig. & Horsf.

Bill strong, thick, vertically deep, much curved at tip, and hooked; the lower mandible nearly straight; gonys slightly undulated upwards; nostrils long, oval; wings with the fourth quill longest; tail lengthened, rounded; rump and upper tail-feathers soft; tarsus strong, not feathered below. the joint, flattened in front.
