Vernacular names. None recorded.

Description. Sex for sex like the last race, but very much darker both above and below.

Colours of soft parts as in the last bird.

Measurements. Wing 77 to 82 mm.

Distribution. From Tenasserim and Siam throughout the Malay Peninsula, Java and ? Sumatra.

Nidification and Habits. Nothing recorded.
