Genus ALAUDULA.

Alaudula Horsf. & Moore, Cat. B. Mus. E. I. Co. ii, p. 471 (1856, ex Blyth MS.).

Type, Alaudula raytal Blyth.

The genus Alaudula differs from Calandrella in having much shorter inner secondaries; the bill is also more slender.
