Anser fabalis.

Anas fabalis Latham, Gen. Syn., Suppl., i, p. 297 (1787).

Type-locality: Great Britain.

The form sibiricus, which has been recorded from Burma, differs from the typical one in having a much larger bill and, generally, in having the head and neck strongly tinged with golden- or rufous-buff.
