TEAL.
Bill moderate, of uniform width, not gradually tapering towards tip. Lamellae scarcely prominent. Tail of fourteen to sixteen feathers. Central tail more or less acuminate, and extending somewhat beyond the lateral ones. Cosmopolitan.
